Entrance to Israel of vaccinated and recovered foreign nationals from countries designated as "Orange" or "Yellow"
Who is a vaccinated foreign national?
The vaccine must be administered in accordance with the protocol set by Israel, that is, those vaccinated must:
• Have received two vaccine doses (or one vaccine dose in case of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine) and at least 14 days have passed since the date of the second vaccination on the day of arrival in Israel (but not more than 180 at the time of leaving Israel). The day of vaccination does not count.
• Be vaccinated with the booster shot and 14 days or more have passed
from vaccination day at the day of arrival in Israel.
Who is recognized as recovered?
• Carriers of a certificate of recovery that can be digitally verified in the Ministry of Health's system, based on a test result on a NAAT test (a molecular test similar to PCR):
• Those who arrived in Israel 11 days or more after their NAAT test (but no more than 190 days on the date of their departure from Israel).
What are the "orange" and "yellow" countries?
Countries are designated according to rules by color; the lists are updated and revised according to infection rates. The Ministry of Health releases health travel notices. The status of a country can be checked in the following link:

What is the foreign national required to do in order to enter Israel:
• You are required to take a PCR test in the 72 hours before the flight to Israel.
Alternately, you may take a rapid Antigen test in the 24 hours before the flight to Israel instead of a PCR test. This test must be administered by professional samplers (no home test kits).
• Only those who received a negative result on the PCR or antigen test will be allowed to board the flight. You are required to present an official document in English attesting to the negative test result, along with the traveler's passport number. No other tests of any kind will be accepted.
• The foreign national is required to fill out the entry statement form in the 48 hours before departure, the sooner the better.
• The foreign national must provide personal information regarding travel companions, declaration of health, provide information about vaccination or recovery and the address of isolation accommodation.
• Upon arrival in Israel, one must take a PCR test, in addition to the one taken before the flight. This guideline applies to all travelers of all ages arriving in Israel, including those vaccinated and recovered. The arriving person must remain in isolation until receiving negative results or 24 hours.
The passenger can pay in advance for the PCR test required to take upon arrival in Israel, in addition to the pre-flight test.
What is a foreign national required to do before departure?
• Within 24 hours before leaving Israel, an exit statement form must be filled out by the traveler.

• It is the responsibility of the traveler to check the requirements of the destination and the entry policy of the country of destination.
What is required of a visitor who has contracted Covid during the visit in Israel?
• The visitor must be in contact with the Ministry of Health and receive instructions regarding procedures.
• Travel to designated Covid Hotel will be by designated ambulance service. Charge for this service is upon the visitor.
• The visitor must reside in the Covid Hotel until fully recovered. Duration of the stay at the Covid Hotel will be upon the visitor.
• Ministry of Tourism representative will be touch with the visitor in order to assist and support as much possible.
• The visitor will be able to depart from Israel after receiving a recovery certificate from the Ministry of Health.
